Multi-Outlet Terminals
This feature is available on Terminal version 187+.
Terminals can be assigned to multiple outlets by adding additional outlets to the terminal in Redbox Management. You can easily see on the terminal which outlet and marketplace each order has been placed with, plus manage your reports and menus for each outlet.
How to find the terminals software version
Terminals List
You can locate this information by navigating to the Redbox Management Portal → Businesses → Terminals Tab → This is a list of all the terminals associated with your marketplace. → Software Versions display the versions each terminal is currently on.
Enabling Multiple Outlets per Terminal feature
This feature toggle is only available to Partner level users.
Before enabling this feature please check that all or at least the majority of the terminals are currently on v187 or above. If they are currently not, please contact your Product Specialist for more information.
Navigate to the Redbox Management Portal → Marketplaces → select your marketplace → Details tab → Under ‘Settings’, toggle on ‘Allow Multiple outlets per Terminal’. This will automatically save.
Adding multiple outlets to an existing Terminal
If the required outlets are on separate marketplaces, both marketplaces will need to have the Multiple Outlets Per Terminal feature enabled.
Log on to Redbox Management
Select Businesses from the left navigation pane
Select Terminals from the top tabs
Locate your required Terminal
Click within the input box of the Outlets and enter the required outlet name.
Click Save
On the Terminal, close the Redbox app and open it again
Enter the PIN
The other outlet(s) will now be visible and ready to receive incoming orders.
View menus when multiple outlets are attached to a terminal
On the terminal, select the menu icon at the top left
Select Menu
Select the required outlet
The menu for this outlet will now be visible
View reports when multiple outlets are attached to a terminal
On the terminal, select the menu icon at the top left
Select Reports
Select the required outlet
Enter the PIN
The reports for this outlet will now be visible
