Removing apps from the Apple and Google Stores

Apple Store information:

Once your app is been removed from sale, your app can no longer be downloaded from the Apple App Store. However, your app will remain in your iTunes connect account and you have the option in the future to update your app or restore it to the app store for sale.

Google Store information:

Google can only unpublish an app, not delete them.

New users cannot find and install the app. Existing users will be able to open the app on their devices, but not be able to see any outlets or place an order.

Users who deleted the app from their phone while the app is unpublished won’t see the app on Apple Store. However, if the marketplace is been deleted from Redbox, the customers won’t see any outlets and will not be able to place any orders.
