Terminal Release Notes
This article describes the new features and fixes that are in each of our Redbox terminal releases. These releases include updates to the terminal only. They do not include updates to the server or terminal apps.

Sunmi V2s Plus terminals, a handheld terminal with a wider 80mm printer and larger screen, are now supported.
Fixed
Resetting a terminal pin in management did not log the terminal out, resetting the pin now logs the terminal out so that the new pin can be entered.
Some terminals had an issue with the no-network sound replacing the new-order sound. These terminals now make the correct alert sound for each event.
Improvements to log-off functionality, users will now need to restart the device once logged off.

Scheduled menus which were outside of their scheduled times were not displayed on the terminal menu tab, scheduled menus now display at all times on the terminal.

The 'X' button on the reject screen no longer causes the reject button the be greyed out on the Pending and All tabs.
Using the ‘Increase time and Accept’ button and selecting ‘Customers requested time’ no longer causes the error ‘The new order time must be after the current order time.’ The order time will now remain the customer's requested time.

When outlets tried to open early on the terminal it was not clear this was not possible, a message has been added to inform outlets they need to wait for their normal opening time.
The bold print toggle has been removed from the terminal receipt settings as this is no longer supported on Sunmi terminals.

Sold Out - You can now view your menu on your terminal and mark menu items sold out, making it quicker and easier to manage your menu.
Multi-Outlet Support - Terminals can now be assigned to multiple outlets by adding additional outlets to the terminal in Redbox Management. You can easily see on the terminal which outlet and marketplace each order has been placed with, plus manage your reports and menus for each outlet. This feature needs to be enabled on your marketplace before you can use it, please get in touch with us to enable this feature.
Preorders now display the delivery window the customer has chosen and the delivery window is now printed on the receipt.
Add on items now displayed on the order view and receipt with the label 'Offer'.
The discount name is now displayed on the order view and receipt.

This release includes the following fixes:
RED-3572 RED-3248 RED-3485 RED-3486 Items on the receipt can now be grouped and ordered by menu (including menu item options), this setting can be applied to each terminal in management, after the Redbox restaurant app has been updated to this version.
RED-3485 When an order is unable to be accepted due to unexpected changes to the order status, the accept spinner will now clear after 20 seconds.
RED-3143 Added a feature to enable the terminals to reboot themselves at 4:00 am to improve performance. To enable this feature the Redbox app needs access to advanced power permissions in your Sunmi account.
RED-3128 Individual order item notes are now supported by the terminal and on the receipt. This feature needs to be abled on your website and mobile app to apply to customer ordering.
RED-2982 Resolved an issue with service charges being displayed incorrectly on table service receipts.
RED-2596 Pending pre-orders now cause the terminal to ring when the outlet opens.
RED-3658 The terminal can now be set to print up to four receipts when an order is accepted or printed.
