Business Configurations

Overrides are only available for customers using Web 2.0 and Mobile 5.0+.

The business has access to the following configurations which can be overridden at an outlet level:

• Special Offer Flags

• Categories

• Branding Logo’s

• Promote

• Business Display Name

• Business Discounts

• Mobile Menu

By default the above configurations are to be applied to businesses and therefore will apply to all outlets. However, a business can choose to override individual configurations, this allows them to be set independently of the business and other sister outlets. Applying the overrides allows the outlet to become individually customised and flexible.

Special Offer Flags

Special offer flags are a great tool to attract traffic to an outlet. When enabled a golden banner will appear above the outlet's tab on the Outlet list and on the outlet menu page.

The Special Offer Flags will appear on the outlet list and the outlet’s menu, it will display on the fulfilments which have been selected in management.

Configuring Special Offer Flags

Businesses can choose to set the Special Offer Flags at the business level and will display the same on all outlets. However, by enabling the Special Offer Flags ‘Outlet Override’ the business can set these on an individual outlet by navigating to the outlet's details page.

Categories

Businesses will be assigned categories which apply to their business modal. These categories will be visible on the website and app for the outlet. The customer can use the categories bar to filter the outlet's list by selected categories.

Assigning Categories

Businesses can choose to assign the Categories at the business level and these will display the same on all outlets. However, by enabling the Categories ‘Outlet Override’ the business can set these on an individual outlet by navigating to the outlet's details page.

Branding Logo

Businesses can assign a logo which will be used across all outlets, or each outlet can be assigned an individual logo. This is especially helpful if a business wants each outlet to have a slightly different logo.

Adding Branding Logo

Businesses can choose to apply a logo at the business level and this will display the same on all outlets.

However, if an individual outlet requires a different logo, this can be uploaded on the individual outlet’s Details page.

1. Add a logo image to the outlet logo override section, using the ‘Browse’ button.

Promote

When a business or specific outlet is promoted, the outlet will display randomly within the promoted section of the outlet list according to its opening status. The outlet list will display outlets according to the ordering statuses and their promoted status in the following order:

• Open and Promoted

• Open

• Preorder and Promoted

• Preorder

• Closed and Promoted

• Closed

Promote Settings

Businesses can choose to Promote business and this will also promote all the associated outlets. However, by enabling the Promotion ‘Outlet Override’ the business can individually promote an outlet by navigating to the outlet's details page.

Business Display Name

By default, the business name will be used as the outlet name on the website and mobile apps. However, a business can choose to display the outlet name. This is helpful for a business which has multiple outlets in various areas, allowing their outlets to have different names such as; Redbox Leeds, Redbox Manchester etc.

To override the business name and display the outlet name, please enable the ‘Display All Outlet’s' toggle under ‘Features’ on the business details page.

Business Discounts

Business Discounts Boundary is only visible to customers using Web 2.0 and Mobile 5.0+

Business discounts are offered by a business to all or specific outlets and are available to all customers. Business discounts can be configured in many ways to suit a business’s needs. Businesses can offer multiple discounts at one time, however, only the most favourable discount to the customer (Member discount or Business Discount) will be applied.

Mobile Menu

Mobile Menu is only applicable to Web 2.0 and Mobile 5.0+

Mobile Menu allows the businesses menu to be displayed as either:

• Expanded
  For Smaller Menus - All items displayed on a single screen, vertically scrolled.

• Grouped
  For Larger Menus - Grouped by menu title, items on a second screen.

• By default, expanded will be selected.

• The mobile menu applies to website 2.0 when being viewed on a mobile browser.

• When the app’s Outlet Menu Group Display or Outlet Menu Item Display is set to Image Grid, this menu view selection will not be honoured.
