What is a Business Discount?
Business discounts are offered by a business across all their outlets, to all customers. Business discounts can be configured in many ways to suit a business' needs. Businesses can offer multiple discounts at one time, however, only the most favourable discount to the customer (Member discount or Business Discount) will be applied. Discounts only apply to menu items and will not apply to already discounted items (Add-On-Sale Menu Items).
Discounts are created and edited by your marketplace. From the 'Discounts' section in Redbox Management, you will be able to see the discounts which have been set up and are available to your customers.
If you would like to create a new discount or modify an existing discount, please contact your marketplace provider.
How Business Discounts Work
Once the discount has been created, it will only be displayed on the days offered. It will appear in the following places on both web and app:
The discount name (eg. 10% off) will appear under the outlet name and it will also display the OFFER label at the top.
The discount will appear on the outlet page, under ‘Menu’ and once customers add items to their basket, the discount will automatically apply (eg. 10% off).
In Redbox Management, the discount will show under ‘Subtotal’ on the ‘Order Details’ page (eg. Discount 10% off).
