Managing Orders on Terminals

Most outlets use terminals to manage the ordering process. The terminal can accept, reject, cancel, complete and add time to orders. It will be the main interface used by the outlets to control the order flow and ensure the customers are always updated on their order status.

Below explains how to manage orders using a terminal.

There are two other methods of managing orders. Visit our guides to find out more:

Accept Orders

Using the ‘All’ tab:

  1. Select the order, select ‘Quick Accept’, or ‘Increase Time and Accept' should you need more time to complete the order.

  2. Once accepted the order will move to the ‘Preparing’ tab.

Using the ‘Pending’ tab:

  1. Select ‘Quick Accept’, or ‘Increase Time and Accept’ should you need more time to complete the order.

  2. Once accepted the order will move to the ‘Preparing’ tab.

Reject Orders

Using the ‘All’ tab:

  1. Select the order, select ‘Reject’.

  2. Once rejected the order will no longer be available on any of the tabs, but will be part of the report.

Using the ‘Pending’ tab:

  1. Select ‘Reject’.

  2. Once the user rejected the order, it will no longer be available on any of the tabs, but will be part of the report.

Cancel Orders

Using the ‘All’ or ‘Pending’ tab:

  1. Select the order.

  2. Select ‘Cancel’.

  3. Select ‘Cancel and Refund’.

  4. Once the user has cancelled the order, it will no longer be available on any of the tabs, but will be part of the report.

Adding Time

On every order there is a button with a clock icon, selecting this button gives you options to move the time of the order forward by 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. You can also move the time of an order forwards when you accept the order.

If your delivery is being made by taxi or another delivery network, you will not be able to move the order forward once the delivery driver has set off to your location. If you need to move an order forwards do this as soon as possible to avoid this issue.

Ready Orders

Using the ‘All’ or ‘Pending’ tab:

  1. Select ‘Ready’.

  2. This order will be moved to the ‘Ready’ tab.

Complete Orders

Using the ‘All’ or ‘Ready’ tab:

  1. Select ‘Complete’.

  2. Once the user has completed the order, it will no longer be available on any of the tabs, but will be part of the report.
